TabTrade Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker

The Broker - What It Is

Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is solid.

The Software

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.

FIX API is available for bots but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That will be a good addition once it is live.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

This is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.

Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That signals something about priorities.

Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Here is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. But be part of your assessment.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal makes sense comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.
